DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO JARBIDGE, NEVADA: Jarbidge is located in northeastern Nevada and is accessible from Elko, Nevada as well as from Twin Falls, Idaho. All travel to Jarbidge involves driving on dirt roads which are passable in summer. However, late fall, winter and early spring could bring snow storms and 4WD may be necessary. Also, please note that only one route to Jarbidge is open year round except during major storm events.

 

From Elko, Nevada (of the three routes below, the two using Highway 225 are closed in winter so check first from fall to spring):

 

► (Mostly paved roads): Take I-80 east to Wells and turn left (north) on Highway 93 toward Twin Falls.  Turn left (west) at Rogerson, Idaho and take Three Creek Road all the way to Jarbidge. Just follow the signs (last 14 miles are unpaved).

 

► (Mostly dirt roads, closed in winter): Take Highway 225 north to the Charleston/Jarbidge turnoff (approximately six miles south of Wildhorse Reservoir), head east.  Just follow the signs all the way to Jarbidge (last 50 miles are unpaved).

 

► (Mostly dirt roads, closed in winter): Take Highway 225 north to the Gold Creek turnoff (a few miles north of Wildhorse Reservoir), hed east.  Gold Creek/Meadow Creek Road dead ends at the Jarbidge Road.  Turn right to Jarbidge (about 45-50 miles are unpaved).

 

From Twin Falls, Idaho: open year round, 4WD may be required from fall to spring.

 

► Take Highway 93 south to Rogerson, Idaho. Turn right (west) and take Three Creek Road all the way to Jarbidge. Just follow the signs (last 13 miles are unpaved).

 

From Boise/Mountain Home, Idaho: (of the three routes below, the two using Highway 225 are closed in winter so check first from fall to spring):

 

► Use the Twin Falls route above—open year round, 4WD may be required from fall to spring.

 

► Gold Creek Road (Mostly dirt roads, closed in winter): From Mountain Home, Idaho, take Highway 225 south to the Gold Creek turnoff (south of Mountain City, Nevada), head east.  Gold Creek/Meadow Creek Road dead ends at the Jarbidge Road.  Turn right toward Jarbidge (last 45-50 miles are unpaved).

 

► Charleston Road (Mostly dirt roads, closed in winter): Take Highway 225 south to the Charleston/Jarbidge turnoff (approximately six miles south of Wildhorse Reservoir), head east.  Just follow the signs all the way to Jarbidge (last 50 miles are unpaved).
